Inspiration

When I first saw cast glass on a hot day in August, I thought it looked like ice.

I learned later that glass is cast hot and molten at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.

The beauty of the glass and the paradox of the process drew me in; I never looked back.

Circular forms appear naturally in my pieces. I do not plan them.

These are forms in which I find beauty, mystery, and a sense of connection to the

many cultures that view the circle and spiral as symbols of rebirth.
